The warbird clicked quietly into place, the grand door closing behind them. Into the belly of the beast. A handful of officers were waiting outside. "Step outside for vessel inspection," the first of them said.

Four stepped outside and went in line with the others. Clicking their heels together into a v-shape before they held their head high. Four's implants were clear to see. Their hands clasped together behind their back as they waited for the inspection to be finished. They were ready to be searched personally as well. Implants and other such things could be hiding contraband. They weren't of course.

Saith easily slotted into place beside his fellow Tactical officer. He kept his head down, expression impassive. Final stretch. They were almost inside.

Lt. Vesta Kuzeed | OPS BOT 04-Oct-25 08:45 PM
Vesta exited the vessel for inspection. Her expression was tight, and her demeanor as close to the other romulans she saw around the bay as possible, despite the sounds of the dock that she was so unused to hearing. She was used to danger, she would not be the factor that got them caught.

Ev'kor followed too, the very picture of a stern Tal Shiar operative. It had been... quite some time, since he'd had to do anything like this. It was good to know he still had it.

Sinau walked out more confidently then she felt. Despite the PADD she had nothing else on here. Just the jumpsuit that seemed a size too small; making breathing a little harder then it probably should have. She wished that she engaged in conversation while they were still in the warbird, maybe she'd feel a little calmer. Despite enjoying it, she rarely socialized, and now she was trying to not raise attention while they frisked her and inspected the ship escalating her fear despite knowing they had nothing that would raise eyebrows.

Lt. Cdr. Vara'l tr'Hara | TAC BOT 04-Oct-25 08:49 PM
Vara'l stepped out then, the part still played as he exited the vessel and settled stood near it at the officers direction. He continued to comport himself like a officer would, relied on training that he'd once attempted to shift, that continued to make the core of who he was. A officer of Starfleet who once had been Imperial Navy. Disguise very well cared for and maintained as those voices of old instructors wouldn't have allowed otherwise.

Lt. Amber Ruthven | TAC BOT 04-Oct-25 08:52 PM
Amber joined the group for inspection, consciously making an effort to walk more rigidly than she was used to. Her scowl, ever-present, was fortunately enough to rival any underpaid Tal Shiar agent's.

A few split off to go through the cargo hold. The one in front — number one, let's call him— surveyed the group. "Are you carrying any weapons?"

Before anyone could speak, Ev'kor piped up as he stepped out of the warbird too. "We're not stupid, of course we do. Standard issue, like the rest of you."

"Watch your mouth," he snarled, narrowing his eyes. "Don't piss me off or I'll send you in circles with verification for another hour." At least it was a passable answer... (edited)

"Cargo hold looks good to me," one of the officers called out, and all of them were quick to exit the warbird. "Very well." Number one waved his hand. " Go ahead and start picking up boxes. I'll escort you to the dropoff point."

Lt. Cdr. Vara'l tr'Hara | TAC BOT 04-Oct-25 09:19 PM
"Understood." Vara'l started to move to get a box as directed. He was careful as he did so to ensure anything he happened to feel toward these people remained soundly behind his teeth and out of his expression or body language as he did so.

Box time! Saith popped into the cargo hold to scoop one up with relative ease. His heart was beating so, so quickly— he needed to stay calm, they were almost past the threshold. Everything would fall into place. Hold on, Saren. Hold on, everyone— we're almost there. Just a little bit longer.

"Acknowledged." Four walked over and lifted quite the large box out of the ship. Lifting it up with their back as they moved it into position. Their implants whirred as some of their ocular pieces moved their attention away from their mouth after the order given by the random officer before then focusing on walking efficiently amongst everyone with their cargo.

Eshen arrived fashionably late! Actually, he was here the whole time, but onion was busy with another rescue. Hopefully they could save more than pigeons tonight. He moved boxes with the others, playing the part of menial labour as was indicated.

Amber couldn't help but eye some of the Tal Shiar officers dotted around the dock as she returned to the hold and bent down to pick up a box of her own. Perhaps in her wisest action so far, she had elected not to speak until they were out, or until after their cover was blown. She moved off with her cargo with the others, hugging it snugly with both arms. (edited)
